RAMADAN
"The pictures of Fernando Pina - a portuguese photographer - now exhibiting at Casa Independente (Independent House) were taken during the religious Ramadan ceremonies of 2015 around Baitul Mukarram Mosque, unveils the moorish heritage of this Lisbon neighborhood, Mouraria . This work reveals not only the celebration of Ramadan but also the everyday life of a Muslim resident community perfectly integrated in the life of the neighborhood and the city, that until a few years ago was "invisible"." The opening night will be next Wednesday, the 26th October at 7pm and you will be able to see it until the 8th of November.
