THE MEDIA AGE EXPERIENCE
The NEWS MUSEUM opened last year on the 25th of April, as a tribute to the day censorship ended with the "Carnation Revolution" on the 25th of April, 1974. Dedicated to News, Media and Communication it's nominated to the 2017 European Museum Award and therefore a must see! In more than 25 thematic areas across the three floors, the visitors can explore episodes of the History of Portugal and the World through their media coverage. The impact of several stories, episodes and major events, from Politics, to Society and Sports are exhibited with a strong digital and technological component, making this an engaging interactive experience. The News Museum, in Sintra is opened every day from 09:30 am to 6 pm.
